Crop Pro respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you use Crop Pro.

Crop Pro is a web-based batch image processing service for ecommerce and content teams. Current features include batch crop, Headless Face Crop, background removal and resizing, account login, credits, subscriptions, and one-time credit packs.

By using the service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use Crop Pro.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

We collect information only as needed to provide, maintain, protect, and improve the service.

  • Account information: email address, display name, avatar, login method, account status, and other basic profile information needed to create and maintain your account.
  • Google login information: when you sign in with Google, we receive the account information needed to create, authenticate, and link your account. We do not use Google login information for advertising profiles or AI model training.
  • Image, file, and processing content: images, files, logos, templates, and processing settings that you upload, select, or generate while using image tools.
  • Usage information: feature usage, login and logout events, task status, errors, page or API requests, subscription actions, and credit-related actions.
  • Device and log information: IP address, browser type, device type, language, User-Agent, referrer, request time, and error logs used for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and performance.
  • Payment, subscription, and credit information: information needed to complete purchases, deliver paid benefits, maintain credit balances, process refunds or disputes, and meet accounting or compliance obligations.
  • Email and communication information: email address, message type, delivery status, support requests, feedback, and other communications you send to us.
  • Cookies and browser storage: necessary cookies and local storage used for login sessions, security, workbench settings, saved templates, and redirect paths.

Some crop, preview, and export features may run mainly in your browser. Features that require cloud processing, such as background removal, may send images to our servers or entrusted service providers for processing.

Unless a product page, enterprise agreement, or separate notice says otherwise, we do not keep uploaded originals or processed results as a long-term asset library, and we do not use your private images for public display, marketing, or training general AI models.

2. How We Process and Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We process or share information only where necessary for the service or where permitted or required by law.

  • Service delivery: to provide login, image processing, credit balances, subscriptions, downloads, and customer support.
  • Service providers: we may share necessary information with providers that support hosting and security, authentication, payments, email delivery, image processing, data storage, customer support, and troubleshooting.
  • Legal, safety, and rights protection: we may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse or fraud, enforce terms, or collect amounts owed.
  • Business transfers: information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or asset sale, subject to appropriate protections.
  • International transfers: service providers may process data in countries or regions outside your location. We use contractual, technical, and organizational measures required by applicable law.

We require service providers to process information only as needed to provide services to us, protect security, or comply with law, and not for their own unrelated marketing purposes.

3. Retention and Deletion

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, fulfill contracts, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect security.

  • Account information is generally kept while your account remains active.
  • Session information is kept until the session expires, you sign out, or it is cleared for security reasons.
  • Verification codes and credentials are kept only for a short validity period.
  • Image processing content is processed only as needed to complete processing, provide short-term access, troubleshoot failures, or meet security requirements.
  • Payment, subscription, credit, and transaction records may be retained longer for accounting, tax, refund, dispute, anti-fraud, and legal obligations.
  • Browser templates and workbench settings remain on your device until you delete them, clear browser data, or switch devices.
  • Logs and error records are kept as needed for operations, security, and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

You may request account or personal information deletion by contacting us. After account deletion, we will delete or anonymize related information where permitted and technically feasible, while retaining records required for legal, accounting, dispute, or security purposes.

4. Information Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.

  • Secure login and session mechanisms.
  • Secure storage or verification methods for passwords and verification codes.
  • Validation mechanisms for key server endpoints and payment callbacks.
  • Limited access to production secrets, service credentials, and operational data.
  • Cloud infrastructure for hosting, security, and network protection.
  • Appropriate data protection obligations for service providers.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account, email, device, and browser environment secure, and contact us promptly if you discover a security issue.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

  • Access information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete personal information or delete your account.
  • Receive a copy of personal information or request portability.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing activities.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling where applicable.
  • File a complaint with a regulator where applicable.

You can manage some information through available account settings or contact us to exercise your rights. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request.

6. Browser Permissions and Local Device Access

Crop Pro is currently provided mainly as a web service. We do not read images or files on your device unless you choose or authorize them through browser actions.

When you click upload, drag files, select images, or download exports, your browser may request local file or download access. This access is used only to complete the image import, processing, preview, and export operations you initiate.

If we later provide mobile apps or features requiring camera, photo library, notification, or other system permissions, we will explain the permission purpose in that product and obtain any required authorization.

7. Children’s Privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13 or any lower age required by applicable law. Minors should use the service only with consent from a parent or guardian.

If you believe a child has provided personal information without authorization, please contact us. After verification, we will delete the relevant information and take necessary measures as required by law.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The service may link to third-party pages such as payment or identity provider pages. Third-party services are not controlled by this Privacy Policy. Please review their own privacy policies and terms.

9. Disclaimer

Due to the internet, third-party services, network environments, browsers, force majeure, or matters outside our reasonable control, the service may experience interruptions, delays, errors, or data processing failures. We will make reasonable efforts to reduce impact and maintain service stability and security.

This Privacy Policy does not limit any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice through the website, in-product notice, email, or another reasonable method. The updated policy applies from the effective date shown on the page.

If you do not agree with the updated policy, you should stop using the service and may contact us regarding your personal information.
